About JDN Systems
Welcome to JDN Systems! Founded by Michael Misicka in 1988, JDN Systems started as a family business and continues to honor those roots with every job we do.
Michael’s HVAC journey began in the 1970s when he took a chance working for his wife’s uncle at his Tennessee HVAC company. That hands-on experience sparked a passion for problem-solving and the industry in general. After returning to Illinois, he joined up with another HVAC company. A few years later, he started JDN Systems. At the time, he only had one goal: provide honest service or find another line of work. Thankfully, honesty turned out to be the best business model.
The company name reflects how much we value family. The initials of Michael’s sons represent the acronym: Jason, David, and Nathan. When his fourth son, Stephen, was born, the name evolved to include him. Today, the second generation is stepping into leadership, and the third generation is already learning the ropes.
